this is a built in feature in windows where you could clean and delete unnecessary and junk files on your pc.
To open disk cleanup :
->press start button(windows icon) from desktop
->select all programs/programs
->select accessories
->select system tools
->select disk cleanup

right click the drive you want to clean then select disk cleanup

You can optimize your drives to help your computer run more efficiently, or analyze them to find out if they need to be optimized
To run disk defragmenter:

Update Your Video Card Driver
updating your video card driver can have a big impact on the performance of your games and other applications, so you should update yours occasionally or when the vga manufacturer releases a new version of it.
to check what brand and model you have:
->click start button
->on the run textbox type dxdiag
->select the display tab
on the name, your video card brand and model is displayed there
then download your video card drivers, just select the proper categories and details of your video card.

Disable Startup Items
this is also a factor that can affect the startup time and performance of your pc
->click start button from desktop
->on the run textbox, type msconfig
then select startup
you could disable and delete those unecessary startup applications there
make sure you, maintain your system atleast once a month to keep it healthy and fast.
